Butterfly clicking uses two fingers alternating on a single mouse button to roughly double your click rate — a favourite of Minecraft players. This butterfly click test measures the CPS your two-finger technique produces. Choose a duration and flutter those fingers.
Test your butterfly clickingYou place two fingers (usually index and middle) on one mouse button and tap them alternately, so each 'click' becomes two. It can reach 12–16+ CPS, though some mice register double-clicks differently — a good mouse helps.
Butterfly clicking is easier on your arm than jitter clicking and can hit higher CPS, but it can be less consistent and some servers detect it. Jitter relies on arm vibration; butterfly relies on finger alternation. Try both here and see which gives you a better score.

Butterfly clicking often reaches 12–16 CPS, higher than normal or jitter clicking for many players.
Mouse debounce settings, double-click detection and finger timing all affect it. A gaming mouse with low debounce usually registers butterfly clicks more reliably.
